@Bronnie: Bronnie, You are bang on with the stoney ridge!.
But not jumping off..he was jumping upwards on a cliff and the mid air stones were in his hands.

The bright corner goes well with the title, telling the story of approaching the sun. And debrises make it look as if something's falling apart from his body. Fantastic!!
